The Jackson Hole Giants American Legion Baseball team traveled to Evanston on Sunday for two scheduled seven-inning games. The 10-run mercy rule was invoked after five innings in both games as Jackson won the first 15-0 and the second 13-2. Andy Renz pitched a complete game in the first, giving up just three hits and striking out 13, while brother Patrick Renz went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Marc Rossolo was 3-for-5 with an RBI double and three runs scored. Moulder got the start and the win in the second, pitching three innings and giving up two runs on two hits, had a base hit and scored three times. Sean Sonderman pitched two scoreless innings to seal the win, while Patrick Renz went 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Carlos Toledo went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs scored. The Giants are now 4-0 on the season and next will host Lovell on Saturday, May 22, and play two games at Giant's Field beginning at 1 p.m.
