Post 43 Giants 18U nabbed the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Sheridan on Sunday. The game was tied at two with Post 43 Giants 18U batting in the top of the fifth when #10 induced Javen King to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Seth Christiansen struck out six, while #10 sat down nine.

Post 43 Giants 18U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-0 loss to Casper on Sunday. Casper took the lead on a single in the first inning.

Casper got on the board in the first inning when #4 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Post 43 Giants 18U was a double by Brian Feuz in the sixth inning.

Post 43 Giants 18U stayed in it until the end, but Evanston pulled away late in a 10-9 victory on Sunday. The game was tied at nine with Evanston batting in the top of the eighth when #44 singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Jon Fisher collected four hits in defeat. Fisher singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.
