Big Third Inning Propels Post 43 18U To Victory Over Burley, Idaho

A nine-run third inning led Post 43 Giants 18U to an 11-1 victory on Friday. Giants batters contributing to the big inning included Javen King, Nate Fairbanks, Quentin Bruno, Gus Armijo, Jon Fisher, and Fairbanks, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Post 43 got things moving in the first inning, when King’s sac fly scored one run.

The Giants notched nine runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by was led by King, Fairbanks, Bruno, Armijo, Fisher, and Fairbanks, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Seth Christiansen earned the victory on the mound. He surrendered one run on five hits over five innings, striking out three and walking one.

#20 was on the hill for Burley, Idaho. He surrendered ten runs on nine hits over three innings. #21 threw one inning in relief.

Post 43 launched one home run on the day. Fisher put one out in the third inning.

Post 43 tallied ten hits on the day. Fisher, Matt Ellingson, King, and Fairbanks each racked up multiple hits. Fisher went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits. Post 43 was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Armijo had the most chances in the field with seven.

#10 led Burley, Idaho with two hits in two at bats.

Post 43 Giants 18U Defeats Snow Canyon In Blow Out Victory Thanks To Fourth Inning Boost

Post 43 Giants 18U defeated Snow Canyon 9-3 on Thursday thanks to a timely five runs in a big fourth inning. Jon Fisher, Matt Ellingson, Javen King, Brian Feuz, and Quentin Bruno all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Post 43 got things moving in the first inning. Ellingson’s sac fly scored one run.

Post 43 tallied five runs in the fourth inning with batters contributing to the big inning included Fisher, Ellingson, King, Feuz, and Bruno, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Nate Fairbanks was the winning pitcher. He went five and a third innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out six. Connor Lang threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

#19 started the game for Snow Canyon. He lasted three innings, allowing four hits and eight runs while striking out two. #17 and #29 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.

The Giants socked one home run on the day. King had a dinger in the sixth inning.

Post 43 tallied nine hits. Seth Christiansen, Bruno, King, and Fisher each racked up multiple hits for Post 43 Giants Giants 18U. Fisher, King, Bruno, and Christianseneach collected two hits to lead the team.

Snow Canyon saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. #20 and #17 each collected multiple hits for Snow Canyon.

Post 43 Giants 18U Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Grand Junction, Colorado

Post 43 Giants 18U took the lead late and defeated Grand Junction, Colorado 8-5 on Wednesday. Post 43 was down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Seth Christiansen doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Giants earned the victory despite allowing Grand Junction to score four runs in the fifth inning. Colorado’s big inning was driven by singles by #13 and #17 and a walk by #10.

Post 43 got things moving in the first inning, when Nate Fairbanks singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Brian Feuz earned the win. He surrendered five runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out three. Quentin Bruno threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Bruno recorded the last three outs to earn the save.

#22 was on the hill for Grand Junction. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out two. #5 and #17 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Post 43 collected ten hits. Christiansen, Matt Ellingson, and Gus Armijo each racked up multiple hits. Armijo, Ellingson, and Christiansen each collected two hits to lead the team.

Grand Junction racked up nine hits on the day. #17 and #8 all managed multiple hits for Grand Junciton, Colorado. #17 led the team with three hits in four at bats.

The Giants next game in at the St. George Classic is tonight at 8:30 p.m. when the take on Snow Canyon under the lights.


King’s Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Post 43 Giants 18U’s Victory Over NoCo Silver

Post 43 Giants 18U seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple NoCo Silver. Post 43 trailed 12-11 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Javen King doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Despite falling down by five runs in the fifth inning, NoCo Silver tried to fight back. NoCo Silver scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a triple by #35, a error, a error, a single by #18, and a error.

Post 43 opened up scoring in the first inning, when Brian Feuz drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Giants tied things up at five when Jon Fisher’s sac fly scored one run.

Post 43 put up five runs in the fifth inning and put the pressure on, lead by a single by Evan McHugh and a home run by Fisher.

Seth Christiansen pitched to victory. He surrendered seven runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out one.

#13 led things off on the hill for NoCo Silver. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 hits and ten runs. #30, #16, and #33 each contributed in relief for NoCo Silver.

King started the game for the Giants. He surrendered five runs on five hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one

The Giants hit one home run on the day. Fisher had a long ball in the fifth inning.

Post 43 totaled 14 hits in the game. Gus Armijo, Matt Ellingson, Anthony Bleggi, McHugh, and Fisher all collected multiple hits. Armijo went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

NoCo Silver tallied 12 hits. #35, #9, and #18 all had multiple hits for NoCo Silver. #35 led NoCo Silver with four hits in five at bats.

Unfortunately, the remains two games this weekend for Post 43 have been cancelled and the team will be returning to Jackson early.


Post 43 Giants 18U Slides Into A Blow-Out Win Over NoCo Black

Post 43 Giants 18U had everything working on Saturday, winning big over NoCo Black 8-2

Post 43 opened up scoring in the second inning. Gus Armijo singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Anthony Bleggi was the winning pitcher. He went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out five. Quentin Bruno threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

#33 started the game for NoCo Black. He surrendered seven runs on nine hits over five innings, striking out two. #3 threw two innings in relief.

The Giants collected ten hits on the day. Javen King, Bruno, and Evan McHugh all collected multiple hits for Post 43 Giants Giants 18U. McHugh, Bruno, and Kingeach collected two hits to lead the team.

#28 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead NoCo Black in hits.


Bleggi’s Walk-Off Gives Post 43 Giants 18U Victory Over Riverton

It came down to the wire on Wednesday, with Post 43 Giants 18U taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Riverton. The game was tied at three with the Giants batting in the bottom of the seventh when Anthony Bleggi singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Post 43 opened up scoring in the first inning, when Nate Fairbanks tripled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Bleggi took the win for the Giants. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking zero.

#5 started the game for Riverton. He allowed seven hits and four runs over six innings, striking out one.

Fairbanks started the game for Post 43. He allowed five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out three

Gus Armijo went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Giants in hits.


Six RBI Day For Quentin Bruno Seals The Deal In Post 43 Giants 18U’s Victory Over Riverton

Post 43 Giants 18U defeated Riverton 18-6 on Wednesday thanks in part to Quentin Bruno, who drove in six runners. Bruno drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the first, and a single in the second.

Riverton scored four runs in the fifth inning, but Post 43 still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Riverton came thanks to a walk by #12, a single by #2, a sacrifice fly by #10, and by #28.

The Giants opened up scoring in the first inning. Matt Ellingson tripled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Brian Feuz was the winning pitcher. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Jon Fisher and Will Walker entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

#2 toed the rubber for Riverton. He allowed six runs on three hits. #10 and #23 entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.

Post 43 saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Bruno, Ellingson, Javen King, and Nate Fairbanks each managed multiple hits. Bruno went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Giants in hits. They also tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. King led the way with two.
