Early Lead For Boise Cannons Seals Fate For Post 43 Giants 18U

Post 43 Giants 18U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-3 loss to Boise Cannons on Tuesday. Boise Cannons scored on a groundout by #10 and a double by #7 in the second inning.

After Boise Cannons scored one run in the top of the seventh, the Giants answered with one of their own. Boise Cannons scored when #1 grounded out, scoring one run.

Boise Cannons pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second #10grounded out, scoring one run and #7 doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

#5 got the start for Boise Cannons. He surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out two.

Javen King toed the rubber for Post 43 Giants 18U. He went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out two. Seth Christiansen threw four innings out of the bullpen.

Brian Feuz, Matt Ellingson, King, and Christiansen all had one hit to lead Post 43.

#18 led Boise Cannons with two hits in three at bats.
