Five RBI Day For Javen King Brings In Win For Post 43 Giants 18U Over Evanston

Javen King showed timely hitting on Saturday, driving in five on three hits to lead Post 43 past Evanston 12-3 on Saturday. King drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the fourth, and a single in the sixth.

Post 43 opened up scoring in the first inning. King singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Post 43 notched four runs in the fourth inning. King, Nate Fairbanks, and Seth Christiansen all drove in runs in the frame.

Fairbanks pitched Post 43 to victory. He allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning.

Post 43 Giants took home a 7-2 victory over Evanston on Friday.

The Giants put up five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from an error on a ball put in play by Evan McHugh and Jon Fisher, a single by Nate Fairbanks, and by Javen King.

Seth Christiansen pitched the Giants to victory. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out two. Quentin Bruno threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

#24 led things off on the hill for Evanston. He lasted five and a third innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out five. #3 threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Post 43 racked up eight hits in the game. King, Fairbanks, and Fishereach racked up multiple hits. Fisher, Fairbanks, and King each collected two hits to lead the team.

Post 43 Giants 18U Falls To Evanston On Walk-Off

A walk-off left Post 43 on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Evanston on Friday. The game was tied at six with Evanston batting in the bottom of the seventh when #5 singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Matt Ellingson collected four hits in defeat. Ellingson singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the sixth.

Evanston got things moving in the first inning. Evanston scored two runs when #41 doubled.

Giants 18U Falls To Cody After Sixth Inning Score

Tuesday’s game against Cody was a heartbreaker for Post 43, as they lost the lead late in a 10-4 defeat. The game was tied at four with Cody batting in the bottom of the sixth when #33 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The Post 43 struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Cody , giving up ten runs.

Cody took an early lead in the first inning. Cody scored two runs when #3 homered.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Cody tied things up at four when #14 hit a solo homer.

Cody took the lead for good with three runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth #5 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and #20 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Cody scored three runs in the eighth inning. Cody scored its runs on a home run by #20.

#18 was on the hill for Cody . He went six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Gus Armijo led things off on the hill for the Giants. He lasted three innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out one and walking zero. Will Walker and Connor Lang entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and two and a third innings respectively.

Post 43 Giants 18U Takes Victory Over Spanish Fork In A High-Scoring Affair

Both offenses were strong in Post 43 Giants 10-7 victory over Spanish Fork .

Spanish Fork opened up scoring in the first inning when #22 grounded out, scoring one run.

Post 43 took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Matt Ellingson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Javen King singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Nate Fairbanks singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and Anthony Bleggi singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Post 43 scored four runs in the third inning. The offense in the inning was led by Jon Fisher, Ellingson, and Quentin Bruno, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

King led the team to victory on the hill. He surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out one. Bruno threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bruno recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save.

#2 led things off on the mound for Spanish Fork. He lasted two innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out two. #9, #4, and #1 each contributed in relief for Spanish Fork.

Post 43 Giants 18U took the lead late and defeated Park City Utah 10-8 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Post 43 batting in the top of the fourth when Matt Ellingson grounded out, scoring one run.

Despite falling down by five runs in the fifth inning, Park City Utah tried to fight back. Park City Utah scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by #8 and a error.

After Post 43 scored three runs in the top of the fifth, Park City Utah answered with three of their own. Post 43 scored when Gus Armijo grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Post 43, and Jon Fisher tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Park City Utah then answered when #8 doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and an error scored two runs for Park City Utah.

Nate Fairbanks earned the win for Post 43. He went three innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out five. Connor Lang and Brian Feuz entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Feuz recorded the last out to earn the save.

Post 43 Giants 18U took the lead late in the game in a 10-6 victory over Utah County Majors on Friday. The game was tied at six with Post 43 batting in the bottom of the fourth when Gus Armijo singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Post 43 Giants Giants 18U collected six hits and Utah County Majors had eight.

In the first inning, Utah County Majors got their offense started when #31 grounded out, scoring one run.

Utah County Majors scored three runs in the second inning. Utah County Majors offense in the inning was led by #28 and #18, all driving in runs in the inning.
