Post 43 Giants snagged a late lead and defeated Hanford Flames 6-5 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Post 43 batting in the top of the eighth when Nate Fairbanks singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Post 43 got on the board in the first inning when Matt Ellingson tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Hanford Flames tied things up at five when #11’s sac fly scored one run for Hanford Flames.
Ellingson was credited with the victory. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out one. Gus Armijo threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
