Post 43 Giants 18U Victorious Over Spanish Springs In Low-Scoring Affair

Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound Friday, but Post 43 Giants defeated Spanish Springs 3-2. Seth Christiansen allowed just four hits to Spanish Springs.

The Giants got things moving in the second inning, when Gus Armijo singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Christiansen got the win. He lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out two and walking zero.

#18 led things off on the hill for Spanish Springs. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, striking out four and walking zero.

The Giants collected nine hits. Quentin Bruno and Anthony Bleggi all managed multiple hits. Bleggi and Bruno each managed two hits to lead the team.

#1 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Spanish Springs in hits. Spanish Springs didn’t commit a single error in the field. #13 had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
