Rowan Bruno drove in five on three hits to lead Jackson Post 43 Giants 15U past Cheyenne 15-4 on Thursday. Bruno drove in runs on a double in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.
The Post 43 Giants 15U scored six runs in the third inning. The big inning was driven by a single by Parker Bleggi, a single by Bruno, and a groundout by Will Walker.
Cheyenne scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Cheyenne came thanks to a double by #4 and a single by #13.
Post 43 Giants 15U bats were hot collecting 13 hits. Bruno, Benny Zarate, Bleggi, and Connor Lang each collected multiple hits for Jackson Post 43 Giants 15U.

Wednesday was a long day for Post 43 Giants 18U, as they fell to Casper Oilers 4-2.
Post 43 18U captured the lead in the first inning when Brian Feuz's sac fly scored the first run.
Casper Oilers took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth #12 singled off of Gus Armijo, driving in one run, Armijo walked #27 to drive in a run, #22 singled off of Armijo, driving in one run, and Armijo walked #29 to drive in a run.
Armijo took the loss for Post 43 Giants 18U. He threw three innings, allowing four runs, seven hits, and striking out one.
Jon Fisher, Matt Ellingson, Seth Christiansen, Armijo, Evan McHugh, Clayton Campbell, and Aaron Villa all had one hit to lead Post 43 Giants 18U.
Casper Oilers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. #23 made the most plays with nine.

Post 43 Giants 18U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-1 loss to Casper Oilers on Wednesday. Casper Oilers scored on a wild pitch in the first inning, a single by #4 in the first inning, and a error in the second.

Anthony Bleggi took the loss for Post 43 Giants 18U. He pitched six innings, giving up ten runs, and 12 hits.

Casper Oilers collected 12 hits. #4, #31, #29, and #12 each collected multiple hits for Casper Oilers. Casper Oilers didn't commit a single error in the field. #16 had the most chances in the field with nine.

The Giants 15U captured the lead in the first inning. Will Walker singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the first inning, scoring two runs.
The Giants 15U scored six runs in the second inning on a single by Benny Zarate, a error, a double by Nate Keipurt, a double by Walker, and a single by Sam Scott.
The Post 43 Giants 15U collected 11 hits. Zarate and Walker each managed two hits to lead the team.
#3 went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Laramie in hits.

Post 43 Giants 18U lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat to Casper Oilers on Tuesday. Casper was down 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when #5 singled off of Seth Christiansen, driving in two runs.
Casper Oilers took an early lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning #8 drove in two runs when he singled.
In the top of the second inning, Post 43 Giants 18U tied things up at two. Nate Fairbanks grounded out, scoring one run.
Post 43 Giants 18U scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was driven by a single by Mac Hollingsworth and a walk by Jon Fisher.

The Giants 18U had seven hits in the game. Aaron Villa and Feuz each collected multiple hits. Hollingsworth, Feuz, Fisher, Fairbanks, and Villa each drove in one run to lead the team.
Casper Oilers collected 12 hits. #5, #8, and #29 each collected multiple hits.

The Post 43 Giants won the Stanaway Northwest Wooden Bat Invitational in Billings, MT with a 6-0 record. The Giants now have 33 wins this season!
You know it’s been a good weekend when you pick up win 33 on the year, sweep a tournament, get Coach his 200th as the skipper of Post 43 and then take a bus ride home through Yellowstone. This is what it’s all about! These young men will realize someday how special a time this was.
